David Godinho has over 20+ years of global experience in investment banking and capital markets, spanning Johannesburg, London, New York, and Chicago. In his role as head of Operations for Market Rebellion, David leads product and systems development.

David came to Market Rebellion from Deutsche Bank where he served as head of change engineering for Wealth Management US Operations in New York and Chicago. Other roles at Deutsche Bank include enterprise architect in the Chief Technology Office and Chief Data Office where he managed transformational programs across Finance, Risk & Treasury, as well as regional lead for new client data management system adoptions across the US, Canada, and Brazil for the Corporate & Investment Banking business. Prior to that, David served at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, where he executed numerous transition initiatives across the Global Banking & Markets Group, aligning the client coverage model between corporate banking and corporate treasury within the EMEA & Asia regions. He also worked at Standard Bank of South Africa, originating and scoping research projects across sub-Saharan Africa, and was a macroeconomics research analyst with TD Securities.

David holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Pure Mathematics and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics & Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, a TOGAF certified Enterprise Architect and Six Sigma Black Belt.
